The fullback ended a ten-week absence in their draw at Wigan Athletic.
"There's nothing worse than being injured and watching from the sidelines," the 24-year-old told the WBA website.
"The only positive in that respect was watching the lads doing well and winning.
"They picked up some great results, too.
"I had a re-tear, which was frustrating, as it kept me out for longer than I was expecting.
"But it's nice to be back now."
