Billionaire Harris happy for Parish to stay with Crystal Palace

American billionaire Josh Harris is happy for Steve Parish to stay on with Crystal Palace once he buys the Premier League club.

The Telegraph says Harris is aiming to complete his £70 million takeover of Crystal Palace within the next three weeks after setting up ambitious plans for the January transfer window.

Parish, the Palace co-chairman, is expected to stay on for the rest of the season at least and concentrate on the day-to-day running of the club. He has been determined to ensure any potential buyers have the interests of Palace at heart and Harris has impressed with his vision for the future of the club.

Harris also owns the NBA franchise Philadelphia 76ers and NHL outfit New Jersey Devils and with such a substantial portfolio of interests overseas will spend most of his time in the United States.
