West Ham have taken Lens youngster Hamdi Billal on trial for 10 days. The 19-year-old will link up with the Hammers where he will be monitored and evaluated by the coaching staff over the coming days.

And Billal is hopeful of clinching a move to the Championship club.

"Nothing has been decided yet, hopefully I can convince the management and earn a contract here," he told skysports.com.

"I think I can play at level and hopefully I will impress them."
