Tottenham's preparations for their Europa League clash at Shamrock Rovers have been wrecked by former US President Bill Clinton.

The team's one-hour journey to the Emerald Isle was delayed by 30 minutes after their plane was held up at Dublin Airport for security reasons following the visit of Bill Clinton.

The arrival of the former United States President saw staff close check-in at the airport, meaning the Spurs squad's trip in to Dublin was delayed.
