West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic is increasingly getting frustrated with striker Andy Carroll's spell on the sidelines.
The 27-year-old suffered an injury in the Europa League tie against Astra Giurgiu and was supposed to have recovered by now, however, his return to fitness hasn't gone according to the plan, and that has left Bilic furious with the situation.
Carroll, who has consistently struggled with injuries during his time with the Hammers, has started only 38 games since joining the London club in 2013.
"All I know is that it's about weeks, but then it was about weeks at the beginning when it happened," Bilic said.
"Originally it was four-six weeks and we were fuming about it, it was a shocking prognosis. But now it's way longer than that. He's progressing but its slower than we expected.
"It's not at the speed that we wanted and he wanted. He's working hard and getting better everyday but unfortunately he's still not ready to train with us.
"I'm speaking to him and to the medical team everyday about it. We expected him to be back on the pitch — it's not the case unfortunately — but hopefully in a few weeks time he will be back."
