Croatia coach Slaven Bilic is delighted Nikica Jelavic has delivered for Everton boss David Moyes.

Bilic, who enjoyed three seasons at Goodison, had no doubt Jelavic would settle in quickly.

Bilic still can't believe Everton picked Jelavic up for a bargain £5million and admits David Moyes kept his cards close to his chest.

He said: "I met David at games and although we spoke about football, he didn't ask about Nikica.

"On one hand he's a model professional and so down to earth. But on the other, he's so confident.

"He never has any fear. I expect him to improve even more. He has no limits. I think he can be one of the most important strikers in the Premier League next season."
