West Ham boss Slaven Bilic says goalkeeper Adrian's three-match ban is "too big" after the club lost their appeal over his red card.
Adrian was sent off for a high boot into the chest of Leicester's Jamie Vardy during the West Ham's 2-1 home defeat last Saturday.
Bilic said: "I was hoping that our appeal on Adrian would be positive, but I wasn't expecting it because of the rule.
"The ref decided it was red, but the punishment is too big.
"It was up to the ref. I can't argue. It wasn't out of the blue."
