Croatia boss Slaven Bilic is convinced Harry Redknapp will enjoy great success at Tottenham.

"When I went into management, I took a bit from every one of my managers but I definitely took something from Harry," Bilic told the Sunday Telegraph.

"He is a real worker. I remember at West Ham, every day he worked with us - he's not one to sit in the office. He's on the training pitch, off the pitch with us, talking and playing with us.

"You can talk to him about any problem, he understands you. You can tell him 'Haitch, I'm tired' and he will say 'don't worry have a day off. Come back tomorrow or go back to Croatia for a couple of days', which sometimes you need. Harry understands people, so he is great.

"His best quality is man-managing. He can rise above. He has them smiling again. He knows football - otherwise he wouldn't be so successful in the game for so long.

"I think Harry will be a big success at Tottenham. He had success with West Ham and Portsmouth, getting them into Europe, and it's easier to have success with Spurs than Portsmouth - with all respect to them. They are a big club and they are hungry for it."
