Napoli chief Riccardo Bigon insists there's never been a doubt over Gonzalo Higuain's commitment.

The striker has been linked with Liverpool in recent days.

"Higuain never considered leaving Napoli and an exit is to be excluded," Bigon told Sky Sport Italia.

"We are in good form and face a very strong opponent. It was only normal after the Champions League play-off elimination that the team would suffer a psychological setback, but now that is behind us and we are proving our quality."
