Former Sheffield Wednesday boss Ron Atkinson is convinced they're on the way back to the Premier League after winning promotion back to the Championship.

Big Ron is the last manager to lead the Owls to automatic promotion, taking Wednesday back to the top flight 21 years ago before an acrimonious departure to take charge at Aston Villa.

He told the Daily Star: "Some clubs can get into the country's top 10 and then be fighting for their lives financially.

"But i think Wednesday would be getting crowds of well over 30,000, if they were up there, and would have everything it takes to stay there."
