Big Dunc hails Everton striker Tosun as 'natural finisher'

Everton assistant Duncan Ferguson has hailed Cenk Tosun as a natural finisher.

The Turk initially struggled to adapt to Premier League football, but has since scored four goals in his last six outings.

And Ferguson, who played ten years as an Everton striker, believes Tosun has adjusted to the pace of the competition, which has allowed his abilities to flourish.

"He's a finisher," said the Scot. "I've worked with players before…and he's a finisher. You know, in the main, if he gets a chance, he'll stick it in.

"I think he's found the pace of the game now. When he was at Besiktas he had a winter break and he came back maybe not quite ready. But we continued to work with him. We had a few weeks prior to when we went out to Dubai and then we trained hard there.

"We have had a good bit of work since then on the training ground and I think it's just finding the pace of the Premier League – it's not easy. But he's sharpened up and managed to get a couple of goals. We hope that continues."
