Bierhoff backs Dzeko for AC Milan, slates Ronaldinho
Former AC Milan striker Oliver Bierhoff has backed his old club's push for Wolfsburg star Edin Dzeko.
“Dzeko scored a lot and from all kinds of different positions. He can do well. He is calm, balanced and generous,” Bierhoff told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“He is not a big name, but he is ideal for Milan's economic situation. He has hunger and potential.”
When asked if Dzeko is similar to how he was as a striker, Bierhoff replied: “No, he is a lot more agile.”
Turning his attention away from Dzeko, Bierhoff then gave his thoughts on the sale of Kaka.
“I understand Milan's sensations, but a reconstruction has to base itself on these people rather than old champions or those who no longer have desire.”
On being asked if he was referring to Ronaldinho, Bierhoff replied: “I am too far away to make a judgement on the transfer strategy.
“If what you say is true, the hour to limit big spending has now arrived. If you lack the funds, you need players of a limited price, but with potential. Dzeko is one of these.”

Ronaldinho needs to be played in his position of his choice and given more first XI placings. A great player nonthereless who is fantastic at opening up the defense of the rivals. Great one to watch out for.
Dzeko will cost Milan more than they can afford. They had to sell Kaka as they are knee deep in the red. If Leonardo can encorporate his personality in to some top-notch man management, he can make Ronaldinho play at the top of his game again, and Milan will not miss Kaka as greatly as I'm guessing they will next season.
Low price? Dzeko? I think Wolfsburg asks 30 M€!
