Bielsa will take Leeds job on one condition

Marcelo Bielsa is ready to accept an offer from Leeds United.

The Mirror says Bielsa has told Leeds he wants assurances of full control as he closes in on the Elland Road hot-seat.

Championship Leeds are in final negotiations with Bielsa about succeeding Paul Heckingbottom.

Argentine Bielsa, 62, has been offered a deal to make him the highest-paid boss in the club's history.

But his appointment has been mooted for days and the hold up has been over Bielsa's concerns about control.

Leeds' hands-on owner Andrea Radrizzani has already been through three bosses since buying the club in 2017.
