Bidders come from near and far to show Rangers interest

Recent reports suggest that there are about seven bidders being seriously considered to take over Rangers FC.

New administrators Duff & Phelps are looking to fast track the sale of the club to avoid going into liquidation and it is believed that there have been about 40 potential bids.

SunSport suggests that former director Paul Murray's Blue Knights and the owner of English rugby union club Sale Sharks, Brian Kennedy, are the frontrunners.

But there have also been two substantial offers from the USA and a couple from Asia as Rangers look to get off the critical list by March 16.
