Habib Beye says Newcastle United's 4-1 victory at Tottenham was their best performance for the season.
"Everybody wanted to win because we knew that Birmingham and Sunderland had won.
"Now we have a lot of confidence from this as well as the points. It's good for everybody because they worked hard for it. We've worked in training because everybody wants this club in the Premier League next season.
"At Spurs we showed it with a massive three points."
He added: "To win 4-1 against Spurs is our best game of the season away from home."
