Guillaume Beuzelin admits he feared for Hibs after the exodus of top talent over the summer.

After their victory over Celtic, the French midfielder said: "Sunday was a good result to take into the CIS Cup game and we are still unbeaten this season.

"The atmosphere in the team at the moment is very good. Last year was brilliant for us and we hope to do the same this year. It's difficult to go and win the cup again but we have the quality that we can go and do that.

"We lost a lot of good players during the summer but the young lads in the squad have come through. I was worried in the summer but after I saw the guys I was okay. I think we have the squad to win this cup again. It will be difficult but why not?"
