Real Betis president Pepe Leon has revealed they've been encouraged to bid for Benfica striker Nuno Gomes.
"They have offered him to us and we are studying the proposition," said Leon. "For now, I cannot say anything. We'll wait for the opinion of [coach] Hector Cuper, who will tell us if he can be useful for the team."
