Real Betis are chasing Liverpool striker Anthony Le Tallec.
Reds boss Rafa Benitez has put the Frenchman up for sale for £2.5 million and El Mundo Deportivo says Betis coach Hector Cuper is keen.
The stumbling block is that Betis would prefer an initial loan arrangement with the view to a permanent deal next summer.
