Real Betis chief Manuel Momparlet spent the weekend in France attempting to finalise terms with Toulouse over their midfielder Achille Emana.

Emana's agents are confident a deal can be struck this week, with Betis indicating they're willing to cough up a fee rising to £5 million based on appearances and success.

Toulouse president Olivier Sandran is ready to sell and eager to close terms as soon as possible.
