Football news: Best transfers for the market

As we edge ever closed to the start of the new season, we can expect football news to start flying in at a rather rapid rate. We figured that we would give you a couple of highlights from the past day or so. Could potentially make your bets on football betting sites a little bit easier!

Renato Sanches to Chelsea

Bayern Munich and Chelsea played each other earlier this week. By all accounts, and Bayern Munich have confirmed this so we are going to assume that it is true, Antonio Conte asked about the potential of signing Sanches. We do not know what came from this conversation. We do know that he was asking as opposed to making a formal offer. We are going to assume that the 19-year-old is not going to come cheap. In fact, he is a Portugal midfielder with the potential to develop loads. He is going to be expensive. That's not to say that Chelsea can't afford it. Got to love that Russian money.

For now, we don't think Sanches is going to go to Chelsea. At least not this transfer window. May be something to have a bet on at the sport betting websites during the next transfer window, but for now we are going to rule this one out.

Neymar to Paris St. Germain

Neymar had a bit of a bust-up with Nelson Semedo earlier on during pre-season. A massive bust-up by all accounts. Considering Barcelona have cancelled a promotional event in China with the reason given that Neymar is "busy dealing with this transfer", we are going to assume that this one will be going through. Would be a bit odd if it didn't at this point. As brilliant as Neymar is, we can't imagine that he will be able to hang around for Barcelona for that long. Seems like that the club would prefer to have Semedo on their team.

By all accounts, the move is going to set Paris St. Germain back £199 million. This one is almost certainly going to go through.

Andreas Samaris

Anybody remember back to January? Samaris was meant to head to Sunderland but it fell through for whatever reason. Good chance that he is still heading to the north of England. By all accounts, Newcastle are just agreed personal terms with him. This is one that you won't be able to find on sport betting sites now. It is basically guaranteed.

Thomas Lemar to Arsenal

Arsenal have been going a little bit crazy with the transfers this season. We can't blame them, really. Wenger probably wants to give that top position a proper bash, and he has the opportunity to focus on it this season. At the moment, they are looking to spend £45 million on Thomas Lemar (he plays for Monaco, if you haven't heard of him)

This one is going through. We can tell you that now.

Gareth Bale to Manchester United

It seems like every season there is some speculation that Gareth Bale is going to head back to the UK. Every season it falls through. This season it is different. Real Madrid have said that there is no guarantee that they will be holding onto Gareth Bale this season. Do we think it is going to happen? Well, yeah. We think this is the year that Gareth Bale is finally going to end up at Manchester United, and we think that it is going to go through in the next couple of days too.

Ross Barkley

There are two teams in for Barkley. You have Chelsea, and you have Tottenham. If he does move, then it is more likely that he will be heading to Chelsea. There is some speculation that Tottenham want to change his position to a central midfielder. Yeah. We know. Barkley plays midfield already, but still.

Oxlade-Chamberlain to Chelsea

Chelsea have the Arsenal star in their sights. Can't see this one going through. Arsenal would have to be mad to sell one of their players to the competition. Only way we can see it going through is if Arsenal somehow manage to stumble across somebody that is completely superior to Oxlade-Chamberlain at a lower price than they are selling him. As experienced players of Football Manager, which means we have a ton of scouting experience, we can't say that is going to happen.

Naby Keita to Liverpool

Liverpool are gearing up to make one final bid for Naby Keita. By all accounts, they are looking to pay £70 million. They have had a couple of bids rejected, but this one is probably going through.
