Best MLS youngsters get Premiership chance

Through Generation Adidas, 16 young MLS players will visit Britain this month. Josh Lambo, Eric Avila, Bruno Guarda, and Anthony Wallace from FC Dallas; Tony Beltran, Chris Seitz, Alex Nimo, and Yura Movsisyan of Real Salt Lake; Amaechi Igwe and Rob Valentino from the New England Revolution; Marvell Wynne and Abdus Ibrahim of Toronto FC; the Kansas City Wizards' Roger Espinoza; Ciaran O'Brien from the Colorado Rapids; and Chicago Fire's Bakary Soumare will make the trip.

The team will be headed by San Jose Earthquakes duo Frank Yallop and Ian Russell.

Three games are planned against English Premier League reserve teams, training at Chelsea academy, and players will get tickets to both an EPL game and a Champions League match.

A participant from last year's Generation Adidas Aston Villa Goalkeeper Brad Guzan explained to CSRN whilst on the trip last year that the experience gave him a whole new perspective on the scale of the game in Europe.
