Bessone leaves Leeds for Swansea return

Federico Bessone has signed for Swansea City on a two-year deal.

The move gives manager Brendan Rodgers some much needed cover at left-back, with Alan Tate out for six months after breaking his leg in a golf buggy accident on Sunday.

And Argentina-born Bessone, who will provide back-up to Neil Taylor, is delighted to be back with the Swans.

He told the club website: "I can't express how delighted I am to be back here.

"When the call came from Swansea I was so excited. I just got into my car and drove straight down because I have such a good feeling for the club and I had a fantastic time here.

"The people have always been so nice to me, and now I am back as part of the family it makes me feel so happy."
