West Bromwich Albion have identified Besiktas winger Kerim Frei as an alternative option to QPR's Matt Phillips, reports the Daily Express.
According to the report, the former Fulham player has been offered to Premier League outfits by the Turkish giants.
Norwich City and Newcastle United have already expressed an interest in signing the player on loan but Albion boss Tony Pulis sees the former Cardiff City loanee as a possible contingency if the club misses out on £7million-rated winger Phillips in January.
