Besiktas have told West Ham United they must go higher if they're to land Domagoj Vida.
The Mirror says West Ham have seen a bid of around £20million for Croatian defender Vida rejected by Besiktas.
That is according to reports in Turkey, which say the Hammers have seen their opening approach knocked back for the stopper who starred at the World Cup.
Liverpool have also been linked with a move for Vida who helped Croatia all the way to the final in Russia where they were beaten by France.
Besiktas will reportedly hold out for between £22million and £23million but will not stand in Vida's way of a switch to the Premier League.
