Turkish giants Besiktas are aiming for a move for Liverpool flop Lazar Markovic, according to Turkish publication Fanatik.

The report claims that Besiktas have made an offer to sign the Serbian on a loan move with an option to buy next summer, and the Reds are currently mulling over the offer.

The 23-year-old, who joined the Reds from Benfica for £20m in 2014, spent last season on loan at Sporting Lisbon and then at Hull City.

He spent the entire 2015-16 season in Turkey – on a loan move at Besiktas' fierce rivals Fenerbahce.
