Besiktas midfielder Guti insists he wasn't forced out of Real Madrid by Jose Mourinho.

Guti left Real with little fanfare in August.

"I've never spoken to 'Mou'," Guti insisted. "So there was no misunderstanding between us.

"It was a slightly sad farewell for all the years we were there - perhaps deserved more than a press conference.

"I would love to return to the club, like Raul. We know the club and we can help."
