Turkish club Besiktas have revealed that they prefer Nice goalkeeper David Ospina to former Rangers gloveman Allan McGregor.
23-year old Colombian Ospina is Besiktas' number one target as the club tries to sort out a £4million deal for his services but it is believed that Scotland international McGregor, who has left Rangers, is being used as a bargaining tool.
Besiktas say they have held talks with McGregor but will not really go after him unless the potential Ospina deal falls over.
"We have made a new offer to Nice for Ospina. Let's wait and see if a deal can be reached," said Besiktas boss Samet Aybab.
"We have also spoken to McGregor but if the transfer can be finished with Nice, Ospina will be our No.1."
