Besiktas are set to sign Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper Paul Robinson.

The Sun says Robinson will fly to Istanbul and is expected to finalise a deal within the next two days.

Robinson has a year left on his contract at Ewood Park but has made it clear he is not prepared for life in the Championship.

Besiktas have targeted the former England No 1 to replace veteran stopper Rustu Recber who announced his retirement at the end of last season.
