Besiktas are making a final pitch to Manchester United goalkeeper Victor Valdes today.

Valdes pulled the plug on negotiations yesterday over Besiktas' reluctance to meet his personal demands. There were also concerns from Valdes' camp that Besiktas coach Senol Gunes was against his signing.

However, Fanatik says Besiktas will make a fresh attempt to reach agreement with Valdes today.

The Turkish giants are having to return for Valdes after seeing a deal for Olympique Marseille keeper Steve Mandanda fall through.
