Besiktas have joined the race for Tottenham goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes.
The Daily Star says Brad Friedel's arrival from Aston Villa could spell the end for error-prone Gomes, who is wanted by Turkish club Besiktas.
They have already offered £3m for the Brazilian but Spurs chairman Daniel Levy wants more than double that for a player who cost around £8m from PSV Eindhoven three years ago.
PSV are also keen.
