Besiktas keeper McGregor wants more Scotland luck

Scotland goalkeeper Allan McGregor feels the team needs a touch more luck in order to get the results required to remain alive in their quest to qualify for the 2014 World Cup.

McGregor and his Scottish teammates sit second bottom in Group A after two draws (with Serbia and Macedonia) and a loss to Wales on Friday which came courtesy of a late Gareth Bale double after Steven Fletcher's 75th minute goal was disallowed which would have put them 2-0 up in Cardiff.

Ahead of tomorrow night's clash with Belgium in Brussels, Besiktas gloveman McGregor suggests a little more luck could go a long way to a positive Scotland result.

"It's hard to pinpoint what is going wrong. As the manager said, there is just one ingredient away from things going well but luck is definitely not something we have had a lot of," he told the Scottish FA's official website.

"The group was always going to be a difficult one and it has become even more difficult now, but we have to take the positives, block out the negatives and do our best to get a result in Belgium."
