Scotland goalkeeper Allan McGregor is a major doubt for his country's 2014 World Cup qualifier against Serbia next month.
The 30-year old sustained a groin injury which forced him off after just over 20 minutes of Scotland's 3-1 friendly win over Australia in Edinburgh last night and manager Craig Levein has hinted that there is a chance he will unavailable for the September 8 Group A opener at Hampden Park.
"Alan landed awkwardly and somehow he has damaged his groin," said Levein.
"It was bad, certainly going by the pain he was in after the game. It's a big disappointment.
"The good thing is Gilksy (Matt Gilks) got about 75 minutes and pulled off one outstanding save. He was pretty assured.
"I've got David Marshall as well but I hope Allan is fit because he has established himself as our No.1 keeper and I would like him to be fit and available."
