Besiktas, Galatasaray go for Man Utd veteran Ibrahimovic

Besiktas and Galatasaray are chasing Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Fotomac says the two Super Lig clubs are set to lock horns in an audacious bid to prise the Swede away from Old Trafford this month.

Galatasaray president Dursun Ozbek is understood to be extremely interested in sounding out the United striker over a move to the Turk Telecom Stadium.

Besiktas are hoping to fill the sizeable void left by Cenk Tosun's £27million move to Everton this week.

Ibrahimovic isn't expected to be fit until February, though the Turkish transfer window extends into next month.

The 36-year-old has made five appearances in the Premier League this season, starting only one, and his netted just a solitary goal in the shock Carabao Cup defeat by Bristol City.
