Besiktas coach Senol Gunes wants a deal settled for Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge.

Fanatik says Gunes has given the Besiktas board the green light to move for Liverpool outcast Sturridge.

Gunes has called for the England striker to be made a transfer priority - this despite Besiktas also being offered Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke and Sporting CP's Bas Dost.

Sturridge's hefty salary could prove to be a stumbling block.

The forward, however, is apparently open to the move as Jurgen Klopp has indicated he has no future at Anfield.
