Turkish club Besiktas are believed to be closing in on either Marouane Chamakh or Tuncay Sanli.
The manager of the Istanbul outfit, Samet Aybaba, says that they are 'close' to signing a new striker with Arsenal's Chamakh and former Middlesbrough, Stoke City and Bolton attacker Tuncay on the hit list.
"There are many players on our list," Aybaba told Bugun.com. "We need to be careful when it comes to transferring players.
"It's obvious that our club has financial problems. We are interested in Tuncay Sanli and Marouane Chamakh. We are close to getting a striker."
