Besiktas are chasing Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho.

The Sun says the Turkish giants are preparing a bid for the centre-back amid his disciplinary problems at Anfield.

The 26-year-old was suspended at the end of last season for failing a drugs test and was sent home from Liverpool's pre-season tour of the US after repeatedly breaking club rules.

The Reds will want to recoup most of the £18m they paid Paris St-Germain to sign Sakho in 2013.
