Besiktas are chasing Sunderland's on-loan Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner.

The Daily Mail says the Istanbul-based club want to try again for Bendtner, who is unlikely to make his loan move to Sunderland a permanent one.

Besiktas moved for the Denmark centre forward last summer but he wanted to play in a more competitive league.
