Besiktas manager Senol Gunes has refuted claims that he is interested in signing the duo of Aleksandar Kolarov and Mario Balotelli.
Besiktas will be competing in the Champions League during the upcoming season after winning the Turkish Super Lig title last term and it had been claimed recently that the Black Eagles would be strengthening their squad with high profile signings like Manchester City defender Kolarov and Liverpool striker Balotelli.
However, Gunes has gone on to categorically deny any interest in either Kolarov or Balotelli and the former Turkey national team boss went on to reveal that he is not particularly a fan of the latter.
The 64-year-old said: "There were also rumours about Aleksandar Kolarov but he wasn't in my plans.
"Balotelli isn't in my plans either.
"I don't have a favourable view of Mario Balotelli. I have never expressed a positive insight on him."
