Besiktas boss Slaven Bilic is a fan of Tottenham counterpart Mauricio Pochettino.
The pair meet tonight in the Europa League.
Bilic was impressed by the Tottenham head coach's knowledge of the game and, though both sides are expected to field weakened teams having qualified, it promises to be an intriguing game with Spurs needing a draw to top the group.
"We had a chat," Bilic said. "He did great at Southampton. Spurs are not doing well but he's definitely a good manager.
"He's calm but very active during the game and you can see how he wants to play. I like him a lot."
