Besiktas have pulled out of talks for Chelsea striker Demba Ba.
Besiktas president Fikret Orman held discussions with Chelsea chief executive Ron Gourlay as he attempted to strike a deal for the Senegal international.
But following the discussions, Besiktas have decided not to pursue their interest in Ba.
Besiktas director of football, Onder Ozen, said: "Fikret Orman met twice with the CEO of Chelsea however, a deal did not materialise.
"We are no longer interested in Ba."
