Ryan Bertrand has signed a five-year deal with Chelsea the club has confirmed.
The promising 23-year old has committed himself long-term to the Blues after rising to prominence last season.
Bertrand joined Chelsea from Gillingham in 2005 and has since made a total of 19 appearances (15 starts) for the club including the Champions League final against Bayern Munich last term.
Bertrand is currently preparing with the England national team for their 2014 World Cup qualifiers against Moldova and Ukraine beginning in Chisinau on Friday.
