Bertrand: Reading just like Chelsea

Chelsea fullback Ryan Bertrand says he's lost nothing in working at new loan club Reading.

Bertrand knows Royals boss Brendan Rodgers well from their time at Chelsea and told the Reading Chronicle: “Training with Reading is just the same really, if not better.

“Brendan keeps it the way that Jose Mourinho trained and that for me was some of the best training I ever had.

“It’s the way people want to work and the players have responded really well to the training and the methods Brendan puts across. Everyone believes in them. Hopefully we can look forward to a successful season.”
