Bernardez attempting to lure two Hondurans to San Jose Earthquakes

Victor Bernardez has been asked to recruit two fellow Hondurans to MLS Supporters' Shield winners San Jose Earthquakes.

The 30-year old centre-half told diez.hn that the Quakes hierarchy are keen to bring in a couple more Hondurans but he failed to reveal the pairs names.

"I played in the national team with them," Bernardez said.

"The important thing is that they are good people. That's what the president of San Jose wants: harmony in the dressing room.

"I'm proud because managers are becoming interested in the quality of Honduran footballer."

The likes of Wilmer Crisanto, Johnny Leveron, Jose David Velasquez and Alex Lopez are all being linked with offseason moves to the MLS.
