Former Newell's Old Boys midfielder Hernan Bernardello rejected a lucrative offer from Lokomotiv Moscow to sign with Almeria.

He revealed: "I had given my word to come to this team, that was where I wanted to play. I am convinced that I have made the best decision by signing for Almeria.

"It is a pleasure to be here. I am very happy, very happy. Almería is a club that I like and where I want to be playing for many years."
