AC Milan powerbroker Pier Silvio Berlusconi has taken a swipe at Inter over the sacking of Roberto Mancini.

Pier Silvio, the son of Milan boss Silvio Berlusconi, said: "I was very surprised, I thought it strange. I believe that there is something in this episode that I do not understand.

"I think that Massimo Moratti, like anyone else, is free to do what he wants. But I also think for the time the country's football is in, the compensation figures being talked about are absurd."
