AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi insists they'll soon dominate the game again.
The patron, who has announced he'll probably run for election as Italian Prime Minister again, was speaking at the launch of a new book marking the 113th anniversary of the club's foundation.
"This is a transitional period and we had champions for 26 years, but must now have a little patience. We give ourselves three years to get back to being protagonists in Italy and the world," he told Sky Sport Italia.
"We are focusing on youth and have some excellent talents at the club now, like an extraordinary 15-year-old Hachim Mastour, who will be able to play in Serie A when he turns 16. Mbaye Niang is reminiscent of Mario Balotelli, even in the hairstyle...
"The papers keep going on about Balotelli, but I never dreamed of him and I don't think he is in our list of objectives."
