AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi sought to lift the players after another tough week.
Berlusconi visited Milanello on Friday.
"You must not be demoralised, because I said and I'll keep saying that I wouldn't change this squad with that of any other Italian team," Il Cavaliere is quoted as saying to the team, by Milan Channel.
"I'm happy with Milan's squad. You must be aware of this, and deflect fears and bad moods because football is made up of good moments and bad ones as well.
"Remember that the President and all of the club have complete faith in the Coach and in all of you."
