AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi feels they will be challenging for titles in "two or three years".
Milan lost 1-0 to Juventus on Saturday.
"From 2003 to 2007 we won everything there was to win in the world and are still the club with the most international trophies in the world," Berlusconi told Milan Channel.
"I think that in two or three years, when strengthening the squad, we will return to where we deserve to be: protagonists in Italy, in Europe and the world."
