Inter Milan legend Beppe Bergomi is urging his old club to buy a new striker in January.
Inter are Serie A's top scorers, but are short of striker options.
Bergomi said: "I think they would be missing a striker if Diego Milito is not in top shape. I really believe in youngsters Ishak Belfodil and Mauro Icardi, but the season is long.
"Inter have to stay in touch with the leaders and a striker, depending on the fitness of Milito, could be of use.
"If there was a chance to sign someone then I would."
