Mario Beretta says there's no going back over his proposed move to Siena.
Beretta was expected to be appointed new coach at Siena last week, only for talks to collapse at the final minute.
Speaking to TuttoMercatoWeb, Beretta said: "By now Siena belongs to the past. Actually for me the case is closed.
"I have had a chance to explain myself and to thank the fans again for their support, and now I can only say that it's right they give their support to the team."
Finally, Beretta was asked if he would return to Siena were the owners different.
"I don't know if it will change. You tell me. I just don't know," he concluded.
